President Joe Biden’s administration on Thursday imposed additional sanctions against Israelis for so-called “extremist settler violence,” including two outposts in the West Bank, linked to certain areas. It was the first sanctions imposed on Israel.
The sanctions come at a time when Biden is seeking to shore up sagging Arab and Muslim American support for the anti-Israel and anti-Semitic Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement. It’s actually a gift. The news also reported on the same day that the Biden administration sent a senior White House official to meet with Palestinian Americans in Chicago.
The sanctions also came a day after the Biden administration reinstated sanctions. Waiver This would give the Iranian regime access to up to $10 billion in assets. This exemption means that Iran funds attacks on Israel, Iranian-backed militias attack U.S. forces elsewhere in the region, and Iranian-backed Houthis attack international shipping and the U.S. Navy in the Red Sea. The aim is to encourage diplomacy. , disrupting the world economy.
era of israel report:
The US State Department has provided information explaining its decision to sanction two illegal Israeli strongholds and three extremist settlers in the West Bank.
The two approved outposts are Moshe’s Farm, also known as Tirza Valley Outpost, which was established in January 2021; and Zviz Farm near the village of Haramish.
The three sanctioned settlers are Moshe Sharvit, who runs the former outpost, Zvi Bar Yosef, who runs the latter outpost, and Neriya Ben, from the Rimonim farm in the West Bank. This is Mr. Paji.
As with the four previously sanctioned Israelis, none of the affected individuals have been convicted of any crime in Israel. accusation Much of the “settler violence” is produced by left-wing organizations, whose reports are sent to the State Department. Palestinians are not subject to sanctions for continued terrorist attacks against Israelis in the same geographic area.
As Breitbart News pointed out, the sanctions are far-reaching and enable the kind of widespread isolation that the BDS movement has long promoted. The BDS movement condemns and isolates the Jewish state.
The sanctions, which come as Israel defends itself from deadly attacks by Iran-funded Hamas and Hezbollah, weaken Israel in the midst of a war that would see the U.S. support its allies. It will send a signal that you are not ready.
