President Joe Biden has issued a warning to Iran, threatening that any assassination plot against former President Donald Trump would be considered an act of war. Biden's warning came after the Trump campaign was reportedly briefed by U.S. intelligence agencies regarding the Iranian assassination threat.

The Biden administration has reportedly long been aware of the Iranian threat to the former president, and National Security Council spokesman Sean Savet issued a statement reiterating Biden's warning.

“Iran will face serious consequences if it attacks our nationals, including those who continue to serve or have served the United States,” Savet said.

“We strongly condemn these brazen threats from Iran, as we consider this a top national and homeland security priority,” Savet added.

President Trump called on Biden to take a tough stance against any potential attack on Biden, saying, “If you do anything to a threatening country, in this case Iran, that would harm this person… We should notify them that we are going to blow it up.” Great cities and the country itself were shattered. ”

Iran's Supreme Leader Khomeini is taking revenge on President Trump for the assassination of Iranian General Qassem Soleimani. The assassination occurred in January 2020, when the Republican Party was still in power.

Khomeini previously posted an animated video from 2022 depicting a drone attack on Trump's golf course, indicating his intention to assassinate the former president.

July 12ththA day before the first assassination attempt on President Trump's life, authorities crushed another possible assassination attempt and detained Asif Merchant, a Pakistani national suspected of colluding with Tehran.

National security officials have also been targeted during the Trump administration, necessitating additional security measures.

John Bolton, President Trump's former national security adviser, was one of the targets revealed after the Justice Department disclosed the charges. Members of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps are said to have offered Bolton a $300,000 bounty.

Trump's former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and National Security Adviser Robert O'Brien have also reportedly called for special security measures due to the Iranian threat.

Although the Iranian threat remains, the two assassination attempts on President Trump's life do not appear to be linked to foreign entities.

Savet added: “President Biden reiterated his directive that the U.S. secret services should receive all resources, capabilities, and safeguards necessary to address the evolving threats against the former president.”
