Tennessee law enforcement has made public bodycam footage from a traffic stop that took place in November 2022, featuring Kilmer Abrego Garcia, an undocumented immigrant.
Despite the Traffic Top Report not citing any allegations of trafficking, Homeland Security Director Trishama Laughlin seems to think otherwise.
“This is clearly a case of trafficking,” Laughlin stated during a segment on Fox News. “The footage shows that Garcia was driving a car full of eight other individuals. They reportedly traveled from Texas to Maryland over three days, and there were no packages in the vehicle.”
“It’s definitely a situation involving human trafficking,” she added. “We want to remind everyone that Kilmer Abrego Garcia was previously arrested in 2019 alongside several members of the MS-13 gang, displaying their symbols.”
Moreover, McLaughlin claims that Garcia was found with a stash of drugs and cash and has been accused of restraining, abusing, and psychologically tormenting his wife and their children.
Jill Savage posed a question to independent journalist Breana Morello: “Isn’t it curious how Democrats are quick to rally around certain stories? What about this one that has grabbed headlines?”
“The focus on immigration is odd because it seems like the left is trying to secure their voter base,” she continued. “Many are undecided or swaying toward President Trump at the moment.”
“I’ve noticed immigration trends shift based on various polls,” she remarked.
