Border czar on Alien Enemies Act deportations: Will wait for DOJ, the courts to 'fight this out'

Trump's border border emperor Tom Homan on Wednesday signaled that the deportation of immigrants under the Alien Enemy Act of 1798 would continue, but in accordance with the judge's orders, he made it clear to the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the court that he would “fight this.”

“I will wait until doj and the court fight this as long as the alien enemies act [and] How far will we go?” he said I said Chris Cuomo from NewsNation. “But my comment was, “You're not going to stop deportation, you're not going to stop arresting gang members, you're not going to stop arresting [Tren de Aragua members]. ”

“My comments are going to continue doing what we're doing, as we can keep it up to six months before we remove TDA,” he added.

US District Judge James Boasberg issued an order over the weekend that three flights claiming that the Trump administration is carrying hundreds of Venezuelan immigrants would have to turn around.

Boasberg's instructions sparked backlash from the president and his allies. The judge, former President Obama's appointee, is seeking more information if flights took off from the United States and if they violated his previous orders.

The DOJ claimed that the administration was in compliance as the plane had already departed the US airway when the order was issued.

Trump sought federal judges to be fired each in response to Boasberg's pressure. The move sparked a rare responsibility from Chief Justice John Roberts.

In an interview with Fox & Friends earlier this week, Homan suggested not worrying about the judge's orders and vowed to deportation, part of Trump's sweeping immigration agenda.

“I'm proud to be part of this administration. We're not stopped,” he said Monday. “I don't care what the judges think. I don't care what the left thinks.”

Homan repeated on News Nation on Wednesday, and he forced the DOJ and the court to “fight this and see where we go from there.”

“We're not going to stop what we're doing, we're going to continue targeting the worst and worst,” the border emperor added.

He also claimed the flight was full of US-designated terrorists and members of the MS-13 gang.
