Reality Star Denied Entry for Outfit in Miami
Life can be pretty challenging for some reality stars, as one former contestant has recently found out.
Beatriz Reis, known for her role on Big Brother Brazil, shared her experience of being denied entry to a Miami bar because of her outfit—a striking black transparent dress worn over a bikini and thong bottoms. This incident occurred on a Thursday night, and it seems the Brazilian bouncer had a different idea of appropriate attire, as reported by Metropolitana.
The 26-year-old influencer, who has garnered around 5 million followers on Instagram, complained that both she and her friend Emme were turned away at the door.
“I didn’t realize many places here have these ‘dress code filters’ that restrict entry for those showing too much skin,” Reis posted on social media. She continued, “Emme was in a tank top, and I’m in this transparent dress. What’s the big deal? It’s the beach!”
Currently celebrating her birthday in the U.S., Reis has faced scrutiny for her clothing choices before. She wore her outfit while posing for photos outside Villa Casa Casuarina, a luxurious spot that was once owned by Versace.
Despite this setback, Reis mentioned she was enjoying her time in Miami, sharing some playful snaps from the Universal Orlando Resort. She expressed on social media how her first visit to a theme park was even more amazing than she had expected.
Reflecting on the experience, she mentioned feeling like a “little bird in flight” during a thrilling ride, a sentiment that struck a chord with many. Reis, who previously worked at a street market, also shared how she conquered her fear of heights while enjoying a helicopter ride over Manhattan.
