The ceasefire between Israel and Hamas is over. The Israeli fighter Jets have begun to strike the Gaza Strip after Hamas repeatedly refused its hostage trade offer, officials said.
The Israeli Defense Force (IDF) has begun targeting Hamas terrorists across Gaza.
“This decision comes after Hamas repeatedly refuses to release our hostages and rejects all proposals presented by the US President's envoy, Steve Witkoff and mediators,” the letter states.

Israel will strengthen military action against Hamas' advancement, authorities said.
“Under political Echelon’s direction, the IDF and Sinbet are broadly attacking terrorist targets of Hamastero organisations across the Gaza Strip.
The IDF has launched a series of preemptive strikes targeting mid-term military commanders, leadership officials and terrorist infrastructure belonging to Hamas terrorist organizations. Military attacks will continue as long as necessary and will expand beyond airstrikes, officials said.
Dozens of targets were chosen based on Hamas' preparations to carry out terrorist attacks and build and reorganize their forces. Following a situational assessment by Katz and IDF officials, the decision was made not to open schools or educational activities in Gaza envelopes, authorities said.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said airstrikes came after Hamas “rejected all offers its acceptance” from a special envoy in the Trump administration.

“Tonight we are back in the fight in Gaza as Hamas refused to release the hostages and threats that would harm IDF soldiers and the Israeli community,” Katz said. “If Hamas does not release all the hostages, the gates of hell open to Gaza, and Hamas murderers and rapists will meet powers and IDFs they have never known before.”
He said Israel would not stop fighting until all hostages have returned and all war goals are achieved.
In a statement, Hamas denounced Netanyahu, denounced “the Nazi Zionist occupation, who are entirely responsible for the effects of the dangerous attack on Gaza and the effects of the attacks of unsuspecting civilians and our besieged Palestinians.”
The terrorist groups have called on the UN and the UN Security Council to adopt a resolution calling for Israel to halt military operations, withdraw entirely from Gaza and urgently convened Muslims to support Palestinian resistance.
Hamas insists that Israel will withdraw from Gaza completely and end the war forever in exchange for the release of the remaining living hostages, sticking to the original terms of the deal.
Netanyahu has long argued that Israel would not end the war until Hamas' rule and military capabilities were destroyed.
The strike suspended the 17-month war, after a ceasefire for nearly two months, in which dozens of hostages were released for nearly 2,000 Palestinian prisoners.
