Ashley Burns Joins CBTC as Vice President

Jackson, Tennessee, August 4, 2025 – Commercial Bank and Trust Company (CBTC) has welcomed Ashley Burns as the new Vice President and Loan Officer at its North Highlands office.

In her new position, Burns is set to foster and strengthen relationships with both new and current clients, aiming to deliver exceptional service. She brings nearly two decades of experience in banking, loans, client relations, and branch management to the table.

A native of Chester County, Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Union University in Jackson. While at university, she was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. Additionally, she has a Graduate Banking Certificate from the Southeastern Bank School in Nashville. She began her career in banking in 2007 as a customer service representative at Community Bank.

Over 15 years, she has held various roles, including online banking specialist, loan officer, and branch manager at several financial institutions in Jackson. Most recently, she served as Vice President and Senior Relationship Manager at Henderson First Bank, focusing on building a new customer base while also maintaining relationships with existing commercial and consumer loan clients.

Outside the professional realm, Burns is active in her community. She participated in Leadership Henderson County in 2010 and currently sings with her worship team at Jackson’s Lighthouse Church. Additionally, she is involved with the Carl Perkins Center Central Board. Together with her husband Joel, who is 18, they enjoy attending their 7-year-old son’s baseball, soccer, and basketball games at Jackson Christian School.
