Customer Casharra Brown admits to throwing coffee at McDonald's worker in Michigan.

A woman who tossed a “semi-warm” cup of coffee at a McDonald’s employee during a dispute has entered a guilty plea.

Kashala Brown, 49, stated she was waiting at a McDonald’s in Michigan on November 4, 2025, for over an hour for her food and coffee.

According to reports, she had placed her order through the McDonald’s app. However, she failed to include her name or payment details.

Footage revealed Brown arguing with the cashier, insisting on speaking to a manager and accusing the employee of dishonesty.

She pushed the matter further, wanting to resolve the situation. The employee mentioned that the transaction had been canceled and that refunds could take up to 48 hours.

After leaving the counter, Brown reportedly threw the hot coffee at the staff member’s back. As she did that, Brown mocked her, while the employee responded with a loud expletive and exited the area.

I mean, it’s kind of wild to hear someone being told to “drink hot coffee” in that scenario.

Fortunately, it was later confirmed that the employee sustained no injuries, as the coffee was only “semi-warm.”

It appeared the staff simply did not want Brown to return to the restaurant.

On November 4, Buena Vista Police released a video captured by another customer.

Brown has been arraigned and released on bail with the stipulation that she stays away from McDonald’s locations.

She pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of assault and battery.

Brown will need to travel from Georgia, her home state, to Michigan in March for sentencing, where she could face up to 93 days in jail and a fine of $500.
