Democratic strategist James Carville has revealed the exact moment he knew Vice President Kamala Harris would lose the 2024 presidential election.
Carville told Tim Miller on Saturday's “Bulwark Podcast” that Kamala froze up during an interview on “The View” and that her campaign was hopeless.
“It's a matter of money. That's what you want. …and you freeze!
“If this campaign could be shortened to an instant, I think we would be a country 65 percent on the wrong path,” Carville said. “This country wants something different, and she is often asked about 'The View' in a friendly audience.”
Carville said a question from “The View” host Sunny Hostin derailed Harris' campaign.
“But when we go back in time and history reveals this, that's exactly what will appear on 'The View.' And I think her name was Sunny Hostin… Ask the question I did, and that's the most devastating answer you can imagine,” Carville said.
“He said, 'How are you different from Biden?'” Carville said. That's the only question you have to answer, that's the question you want to know, and you literally freeze and say, “Hmm, I can't think of anything.”
As Blaze News Tonight previously reported, Harris responded to the question: I've been involved in most of the decisions that have influenced it, the work that we've done. ”
Carville claimed that the Democratic Party had a “unified party” because Harris received support from Republican former Vice President Dick Cheney and Democratic socialist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York. did.
Carville added: “She had every advantage, by the way. From Dick Cheney to AOC, we had a united party. Everyone was like that. They could do whatever they wanted.” he added.
Carville said Harris has more resources than President-elect Donald Trump, but “since time immemorial” there has been a lack of reason to vote for political candidates, no matter how much resources and technology they have. He emphasized that he could not overcome it.
“There were more people at the scene,” Carville continued. “There were more volunteers. There was more money, okay? There were more surrogate mothers, but there was no reason.”
“You can't win with technology or win with volunteers for no reason,” Carville said. continuation. “The overall message here, Tim, is why, and she didn't tell us why.”
Carville also criticized President Joe Biden for staying in the race for so long.
“If we had this process, we would have gone through it and there would have been this mega-level talent and all of these people would have been different. It would have been energetic. It would have been really exciting,” Carville said. “Biden, he just stopped everything from happening.”
Carville criticized the Democratic Party's message.
“If a country wants something different, you try to give it something different,” he said. “We're not going to give in to them, but perhaps their discomfort is… [President-elect] The combination of Trump and Dobbs' decisions will get us through it. Well, we couldn't get over it. ”
