On Wednesday's broadcast of CNBC's “Squawk Box,” Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D), represented by Harris Walz, announced that Vice President Kamala Harris, the 2024 Democratic presidential nominee, has been elected, and that the longshoremen union The union leader is a “Trump guy who might try to paralyze the economy for political purposes.”

Afterwards, Polis said, “I think this again shows the importance of trade, but Donald Trump will cripple it with 20% tariffs.” I think the Democratic Party has the moral standing to bring both businesses and workers to the bargaining table and hurry to reach an agreement. I think there is [fewer] The Kamala Harris strike and labor relations turmoil has eased. ”
Then Mr. Sorkin interjected: “Did you see what the union president said?” He's basically trying to paralyze this entire country. ”
Polis said, “Well, he's pro-Trump. …That's because Donald Trump wants to cripple border security as well by not providing us with the resources we need to maintain border security, namely Border Patrol agents.'' There's a theme among some in the Republican Party that they want to continue to make these problems worse instead of fixing them. Yes, for political reasons, that's what he wants to do. It may be.
