Trump Jr. Talks About Family’s Shift to Cryptography
Donald Trump Jr., the son of President Donald Trump, recently shared insights on how his family embraced cryptography not as a trend but as a necessity. In a new interview with CNBC, he explained that political pressures in New York City led them to seek alternative financial solutions.
“When we got involved in code, we weren’t just hopping on a bandwagon. We faced decensorship in our dealings,” he mentioned. He elaborated on how his family, previously engaged in various financial ventures, found themselves sidelined due to political dynamics.
Trump Jr. described how his family encountered difficulties in securing loans and funding for projects. “Suddenly, calls went unanswered, and we had to reassess our position,” he noted. He reflected on how they seemed unknowingly entangled in a larger financial scheme, realizing too late the implications of their involvement.
Feeling a sense of political persecution, Trump Jr. indicated that cryptography became a refuge for them. “Normal people were struggling, and we found ourselves in their predicament, unable to navigate the market as before,” he said. This change prompted his family to explore solutions like blockchain for efficiency, questioning traditional practices such as paying for Title Insurance.
Ultimately, he concluded that their move into this new realm wasn’t merely a choice born from excitement; it was driven by the need for security. “We knew it was essential to adapt quickly, or we risked losing everything,” Trump Jr. remarked.
