House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik, R.N.Y.will slam President Biden for trying to reassure Israel in a speech in the Knesset, Israel’s parliament, on Sunday morning.
Her prepared remarks were obtained by Fox News Digital ahead of her speech. Stefanik becomes the highest-ranking congressman to visit Israel since the October 7 terrorist attacks. Her office said she will be introduced by the Israeli chair.
The New York Republican also plans to meet with government officials and pay homage to the site attacked by Hamas in October. As a senior member of the House Armed Services Committee and the House Intelligence Committee, she plans to tout her decades-long support for the Jewish state.
In her speech, Stefanik called herself a “lifelong admirer, supporter, and friend of Israel and the Jewish people.”

“While I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to travel here many times in the past, I must confess that this time felt different,” Stefanik’s speech said. “The stakes feel higher. Our sense of moral and patriotic duty is heightened and renewed.”
In her remarks, Stefanik praised former President Donald Trump’s relationship with Israel during his administration and criticized Biden for his administration’s controversial actions during the Israel-Hamas war. In November 2023, the Biden administration extended waivers that allow Iran to: Access $10 billion previously in escrowcaused widespread criticism.
The White House recently suspended arms shipments to Israel over concerns about an invasion of Rafah, but decided earlier this week to move forward with the sale.
“The president of the United States could block aid to Israel or formally passed by Congress, ease sanctions on Iran, pay a $6 billion ransom to the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism, or commit suicide. There is no excuse to hide and hide. There is no excuse when our friends are fighting for their lives,” he said in the speech. “Full stop.”

The Republican leader’s speech to Congress expressed support for “every measure in support of Israel ever introduced in the U.S. Congress,” and praised “President Trump’s historic support for Israel’s independence and security.” She plans to promote her career as a “key supporter and partner.” ”

Before finishing his speech, the politician plans to target Ivy League universities for their handling of chaotic protests and anti-Israel camps.

“Extremism in some corners of the ‘elite’ must not obscure the deep and abiding love of the American people for Israel,” the speech added. “Most Americans feel a strong connection to your people. They are opening up to you during this dark time.”
