When Sen. Raphael Warnock, a “radical progressive left Democrat” and “Kamala Harris campaign surrogate,” was speaking with Kristen Welker on “Meet the Press,” Dave Rubin noticed something interesting.

“Should [Harris] “In your opinion, would you also support a mandatory gun buyback program?” Welker asked.
“Look, we're not going to get where we need to be unless we take action in Congress. We have to pass legislation to address this issue,” Warnock responded, confirming that he believes Congress should repeal the Second Amendment and force people to put down their arms.
“Wouldn't that be interesting? Required “What's a buyback?” Dave asks. “Generally, when things are bought and sold, it's voluntary, right? But 'mandatory buyback' – that's a cool term.”
“Right now there are about 400 million firearms in the United States. The population is about 350 million, so there are more firearms than people. Let's say these laws were passed, there was a mandatory buyback, and 200 million firearms were destroyed. A. Do you think we'd be safer? B. Do you think it would stop there?” Dave asks.
“The answer to both questions is clearly no.”
But Dave isn't the only one who resents the idea of a mandatory share buyback program.
After seeing the clip of Welcker and Warnock's conversation, Elon Musk tweeted:
“And guys, we know this to be true,” says Dave.
