Elon Musk’s brain chip implantation company Neuralink has changed its domicile from Delaware to Nevada, according to business portals in both states.
The development comes after Musk said Tesla would hold a shareholder vote to transfer its state of incorporation from Delaware to Texas after a judge invalidated Tesla’s $56 billion compensation package. It happened a week later.

But legal experts say any change to Tesla’s structure could come with hurdles, including investor lawsuits, especially if it’s seen as a move to secure his salary.
Musk said last week that Neuralink implanted its first brain chip in a human patient, who was recovering well after surgery.
Neuralink did not respond to Reuters’ request for comment.
