Epstein emails made public as DOJ states no criminal or improper behavior by Trump

The Justice Department made Jeffrey Epstein’s personal emails public on Friday. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche shared with Fox News Digital that, “Despite his attempts to undermine President Trump, Epstein never indicated in these communications that Trump engaged in any criminal behaviors or had inappropriate contact with victims.”

Blanche elaborated that the investigation uncovered years of Epstein’s personal emails, which consist of discussions with numerous individuals about both Epstein’s life and others’.

These newly released documents show that Epstein held disdain for Trump during his presidency. However, an email from March 2016 between Epstein and author Michael Wolff stood out. Wolff urged Epstein to consider addressing his portrayal in a book about James Patterson, stating that it was a chance to shift the narrative away from himself.

Wolff argued that opposing Trump could grant Epstein a political shield that he didn’t have at the time. Later, in January 2019, Epstein conveyed to Wolff that Trump was aware of the girls and had asked Ghislaine Maxwell to intervene.

In February 2019, Epstein detailed in an email how he worked at Mar-a-Lago and mentioned that Trump visited his house frequently, insisting, “He never received a massage.”

Additionally, Epstein touched on a business deal involving Trump related to a friend in financial trouble. Another January 2018 email found Epstein critiquing Trump’s reluctance to heed advice and remarked on Trump’s apparent discrepancies regarding his wealth.

He mockingly referred to Trump as “stupid or crazy Donald” and expressed concerns about Trump’s finances and dealings with Deutsche Bank.

In a separate January 2018 conversation with New York Times reporter Thomas Landon, Epstein confirmed he was still in touch with Wolff, who had authored a book about Trump. Landon’s observations about Wolff’s increasingly erratic behavior prompted a brief exchange on Trump’s intellect, where Epstein remarked, “What Donald said was stupid,” though it’s unclear what statement he referred to. They also touched on Trump’s mental state, with Epstein dismissively concluding, “No, he was always stupid.”
