Former Officer Allegedly Engaged in Inappropriate Conduct

A former Tennessee state trooper has reportedly confessed to having an affair with another police officer, and even filmed their sexual encounters before being dismissed from the force.

Lisa Vidrios, who previously served in the U.S. Marines, worked for the San Diego Police Department before transferring to the Metro Nashville Police Department in 2022.

She acknowledged that children were present in the building during four different incidents.

An investigative report revealed that Vidrios had a sexual relationship with an unidentified military veteran who had served for 18 years. This information, cited by WKRN-TV, included several videos found on her cellphone, along with text messages and images.

At least one video captured her engaging in sexual activities in her office at Madison Middle School while school officials were outside her door. She admitted that children were inside the building during these incidents.

Additionally, she had sexual relations with another officer in a police car parked at an abandoned hospital and at various other locations.

The 37-year-old, who was married with children at the time, mentioned in a department video how much she valued family time, stating, “We have three children, ages 6, 4, and 1. We love spending time as a family and doing all the things we can do around the city of Nashville.” Interestingly, her husband also worked for the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department.

Details about the other officer’s marital status remain unclear, and his identity has not been disclosed. According to the report, he could not be interviewed as he was in the process of applying for a work-related injury pension.

Vidrios ultimately agreed to a settlement, having been found in violation of conduct rules as a department employee. She received a 30-day suspension and subsequently left the police force.

A spokesperson for the Mayor’s Office released a statement regarding the incident, emphasizing that “First responders are held to the highest standards. If they don’t meet them, it’s unacceptable.”

A representative from the school district stated that neither students nor staff had any knowledge of the ongoing situation.
