RFK Jr. shocked America when he picked Silicon Valley lawyer Nicole Shanahan as his 2024 running mate, but mainly because no one knew who she was.
Shanahan is on the same page as RFK Jr. on vaccines, which is what makes them both most appealing to Trump voters, but her history is a bit concerning.
According to a New York Times article, Shanahan is worth more than $1 billion, much of which comes from his divorce settlement last year from Google founder Sergey Brin.
Shanahan and Brynn reportedly met at a yoga festival in Lake Tahoe, but Brynn was planning to marry someone else at the time.
“So she was dating a guy and was about to get married, but then she met a guy from Google and they had an affair for a while. A few days after they got married, he found out about the affair by looking at her phone records.” Stu Bruguiere I will explain.
According to multiple sources, Shanahan threatened to commit suicide when her husband threatened to have the marriage annulled. She eventually filed for divorce and went on to marry Sergey Brin, with whom she has children.
The child was diagnosed with autism after being vaccinated, which marked the beginning of her anti-vaccination activism.
But Shanahan didn’t seem afraid of other drugs and was reportedly taking ketamine before disappearing with Elon Musk, which sources say led to his divorce from Brynn.
“No one knows what the truth is, but the divorce definitely happened,” Stu explains.
While infidelity comes with character flaws, Shanahan’s relationship history isn’t the biggest concern.
“Shanahan has been a long-time donor to Democrats. According to 2020 donor filings, she gave $25,000 to a political action committee supporting President Biden,” Stu said, adding, “So she’s from the left.”
According to the New York Times, Shanahan has recently deleted social media posts and replaced them with pictures of him without makeup at a farm stand and posing in a Wild West costume with a rifle.
In the past, her posts have shown her dressed up for posh events and posing for selfies.
“So, look, this person was a tech elite,” Stewart says, “and now she’s trying to present herself as someone a little bit different.”
“It’s good that she’s changed her views, but it’s disturbing that someone with those views has recently been put in charge of a country,” Stu added, noting that she was “far left.”
