The X-Post, which has garnered more than 7 million views at the time of writing, reports that Newsom is considering withdrawing from the Union following President Trump's 2024 victory.

According to Associated Press article from November 7thNewsom called on lawmakers to convene a special session of Congress ahead of President-elect Trump's inauguration to protect the state's progressive policies.
