Social media users claim that former Australian Prime Minister Rudd received USAID money in 2022. One user wrote: ”

This claim is wrong. According to the company, there is no evidence that Rudd will receive USAID money. AAP Fact Check. The number referenced in the image is his salary funded by the Asian Association. An Asian Society spokesman told AAP Fact Check that the organization will not receive USAID money.

“The Asia Association has not received funds from USAID, so the USAID funds are not spent on compensation or anything like that,” the spokesperson said.

“I've seen a post claiming that Kevin Rudd received money from a US agency for INT'L Development in 2022. It's a fake. USAID does not fund Kevin Rudd or the Asia Society.
