Washington police have announced that one person will be charged with reckless driving after an illegal street race that resulted in a crash was captured on traffic cameras across the city.
“Too fast. Too violent,” Bellevue police posted Tuesday afternoon along with a 23-second video. Police say the suspect began a street racing incident on 112th Street around 1 a.m. April 26 and headed east on Northeast Eighth Avenue before the crash.
The spliced video consists of clips that appear to have been taken from four separate traffic cameras. It depicts two cars speeding down a city street, and it’s difficult to ascertain their make or model.
