FBI tells Tesla owners to be on high alert ahead of ‘Global Day of Protest’

The FBI warned that Tesla owners and dealers were keeping an eye on potential bad actors, leading up to “global action” on March 29th.

“The FBI is urging the public to exercise vigilance and look for suspicious activity in areas occupied by Tesla dealers and Tesla-related entities,” the FBI said in a statement Friday.

Global Action Day is a global protest sponsored by the left-wing Agitation Group Action Network, which uses the hashtag #TakedownTesla to promote its efforts. Participants are pissed off by the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) and Tesla owner Elon Musk about his role in reducing waste and fraud within the federal government.

In its memo, the FBI noted that there have been incidents of anti-Tesla behavior in nine states starting in January, including arson, shootings and vandalism, including graffiti that expresses dissatisfaction with people who perceive the perpetrators as racist, fascist or political enemies.

“I think there's adjustments there. I think there's a plot behind it. And if we do it right, we can see the funds. That's what makes the FBI great.”
