A young wrangler encountered an alligator blocking the Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway in Jacksonville, Florida, on Monday when he arrived on the scene.
Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Officials I was demanded to News4JAX reported Tuesday that additional help came in when the alligator tried to hang out in the middle of the road.
video footage show Law enforcement officers surround the alligator with their cars. But then the creature crawls under the police car, apparently trying to keep going or hide from the flashing lights.
About 10 minutes later, an alligator hunter equipped with a catch pole caught the alligator and pulled it out from under the car.
A video clip shows the crocodile opening its jaws in protest as it is pulled from the car. The animal then rocks back and forth, trying hard to escape the catchpole around its neck.
However, the wrangler can hold it back and sit on the animal. The clip shows a small boy approaching the crocodile and taping its mouth shut.
“News4JAX has learned that the boy comes from a family of alligator hunters. The Wrangler had loaded the gator into the trunk of the car and it was curled up inside the trunk,” the paper said.
Breitbart News reported in March that an alligator attacked a fisherman in Leesburg, Florida, biting his hand off. Authorities later shot and killed the creature, calling it a “nuisance alligator.”

According to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, alligators lived in Florida for centuries.
“Florida has experienced tremendous population growth in recent years. Many residents are seeking waterfront homes and are increasingly participating in water-related activities,” the agency said. “This could lead to more frequent crocodile-human contact and increase the potential for conflict.”
