A Florida man was charged with masturbating late Friday afternoon at a public park in Fort Lauderdale’s Dulce neighborhood where several children were present, police said.
The suspect, 23-year-old Yavin Omri Johnson, allegedly pleasured himself by exposing his genitals in front of “multiple children and adults” at a Broward County park and was eventually arrested across the street from a recreation area. Ru. rear, Local 10 reported. Alleged lewd acts were reported to law enforcement immediately after they occurred.

According to Local 10, Johnson was charged with lewd sexual abuse and exposure of genitals to a victim under the age of 12.
The suspect was taken to Broward County Main Jail, where he remained over the weekend.

If Johnson posts the bond, he will be prohibited from going to public parks or have any contact with children and ordered by a Broward County judge to undergo “electronic monitoring,” according to court records. The media continued.
The man is also being held on additional charges, including resisting arrest and a misdemeanor warrant for trespassing. These charges are likely separate from Friday’s alleged incident.
