A man has been charged with felony robbery after attempting to withdraw pennies from a Central Florida bank, according to reports.
Michael Fleming allegedly went to a Chase Bank branch in Lady Lake, Florida on June 29 and handed a teller a withdrawal slip for one cent. Fox 35 Orlando.
According to police, when the teller told Fleming he couldn’t withdraw a cent, Fleming responded, “So you want me to tell you something different?”
Fearing the situation would become violent, the teller called the police.

Fleming, who has a registered address in Summerfield, Florida, was taken into custody. Police said they had probable cause to believe Fleming had violated burglary laws, although their conversation with the teller was not included in the report. Other details of the conversation with the teller have not been released.
Fleming was arrested and held on $5,000 bail, according to online jail records.
