“Holy wrath” will befall Israel, an exasperated Major General Hossein Salami of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) declared on Saturday.
The military commander, known for issuing dire threats against Israel, the US and their allies, made his latest deadly promise in a message of condolence to Hezbollah Chairman Hassan Nasrallah over the death of terror leader Fouad Shukr.
Salami’s comments came just hours before Israel said it was “counting the time until an Iranian attack,” Israeli Army Radio reported at 7 a.m. local time on Monday.
He has previously boasted that Israel’s collapse is fast approaching, adding that it is “no longer a wish, but a reality that will soon become a reality.”

Salami did not provide an exact timeline for backing up the bold claim, which he has made many times before, but warned that this time he was serious.
“The enemies of the Islamic State, especially the criminal and terrorist Zionist group, await holy wrath and inevitable severe revenge,” Salami declared. Mare News Agency.
As reported by Breitbart News, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed last week that they had killed Hezbollah second-in-command Fuad Shukr “Sayyed Mohsan,” who was also wanted in connection with the 1983 bombing of a U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut.
