On this week’s episode of FNC’s “Sunday Morning Futures,” Senator Hagerty (R-TN) expressed his support for President Trump’s initiative to push through the so-called “big, beautiful bill,” aimed at extending the debt ceiling, a move that has received some criticism from fellow Republicans.
“Senator, I understand that you’ve got several voices to consider,” host Maria Bartiromo remarked. “What are your thoughts on this matter? Where do you stand?”
Hagerty responded, “I believe in President Trump’s capability to bring about long-term success in this situation. We’ve seen the efforts; significant deregulation is in motion. There’s ongoing dialogue about enhancing efficiency while minimizing time wastage.”
“We need to provide President Trump the space he requires to manage this,” he added. “He has requested an extension of the debt ceiling. I want to ensure he has the resources and time he needs to guide us toward a more effective and efficient outcome.”
