Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign attacked former President Donald Trump’s interview with Elon Musk on Monday, even as the vice president eschewed unscripted interviews for 22 consecutive days.
“The Trump campaign is run by self-centered rich people like Elon Musk and Trump himself who have betrayed the middle class and won’t be able to live stream in 2024,” Harris campaign spokesman Joseph Costello said in a statement, using class warfare terminology derived from Marxism.

Trump’s interview came after the world’s most influential media organizations had failed to interview Harris for 22 consecutive days since she entered the presidential race on July 21.
The paucity of interviews is at odds with the many that media outlets typically conduct when candidates run for president. Media outlets have not interviewed Harris on television since June 24, 2024. The last time media outlets asked her questions at a solo press conference was eight months ago, on December 2, 2023.
We are happy to host Kamala at Spaces too.
