A member of Vice President Kamala Harris' National Finance Committee said her social media posts questioning whether former President Donald Trump was conspiring with Israel, Russia and Saudi Arabia to bolster election hopes were “totally legitimate” and denied she was a “conspiracy theorist.”
Lindy Lee, a member of the DNC's National Finance Committee, has posted on X several times in recent days speculating about potential ties between Republican presidential candidates and a number of foreign governments.
“Did Trump collude with Netanyahu to block a ceasefire in order to win the election? Did Trump collude with the Saudi crown prince to inflate gas prices in order to win the election? Did Trump and Putin agree to delay an end to the Ukraine war until after the election?” Lee posted on Tuesday. “The American people deserve answers.”
Lee is a Philadelphia-area Democratic activist and strategist who serves on the national finance committee for the Harris-Waltz campaign. Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro appointed her to the Governor's Advisory Council on Asian American and Pacific Islander Affairs last year, and Wired reports that Lee is considered one of the “most influential people shaping the 2024 election.”

Lee denied that he was spreading conspiracy theories, telling Fox News Digital in a phone interview that he was simply asking questions.
“I'm not a conspiracy theorist,” Lee said, noting that “there are media articles on each of the points” she made in X's post.
She added, “Trump himself has admitted to speaking with Putin – he literally admitted to it on the debate stage in June….Then there are reports circulating that Trump spoke to Crown Prince Mohammed, and when asked what they talked about he refused to answer. But there are also reports that every time there's an election the Saudis do whatever they can to inflate prices in OPEC.”
To support his argument, Lee points to Trump's apparent history of using issues to his electoral advantage, accusing him of helping kill a bipartisan immigration bill in order to keep illegal immigration a “central campaign issue.”
“Given that it has been widely reported that Trump tore up the bipartisan immigration deal in order to make it a key election issue, I think it's entirely reasonable to ask whether he would do the same with the cease-fire agreement, given how close Netanyahu and Trump are,” she said.
While President Trump opposed the border deal, Senate Republicans opposed it, arguing it would allow 5,000 migrants into the country each day and give Democrats “more authority, more funding and, frankly, more flexibility” over border control.
Lee's post follows news this weekend that Hamas terrorists killed six hostages on Saturday, the day the Israel Defense Forces launched an operation in the Gaza Strip. Among the bodies recovered was that of Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg Pollin, who had been held captive by Hamas terrorists since October 7, when war broke out between Hamas and Israel.

Protests have erupted in Israel this week over the deaths of six hostages, with residents demanding that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu solidify a ceasefire and allow the remaining hostages to return home. Netanyahu said this week that he would “not bow to pressure” for a ceasefire and that Israel needed to seize control of the narrow strip of land along the Gaza Strip's border with Egypt.

In a follow-up message to X, Lee said “Nixon delayed the end of the Vietnam War in order to cleverly time his presidency,” and argued that Trump may be coordinating with world leaders to improve his chances of retaking the White House.
“Trump, who sees Nixon as his spiritual precursor, will stop at nothing to win, even if it means continuing the immense suffering in Gaza to bolster his own electoral chances,” she wrote.
Waltz was again accused of misrepresentation in a scathing unearthed letter: “Delete any references.”
Lee argued that President Ronald Reagan also used world events to bolster his election campaign.
“Reagan made a deal with Iran that delayed the release of American hostages until after the election,” Lee wrote. “Nixon made a deal with Vietnam that delayed the end of the war until after the election.”
Trump-Vance has conducted a combined 37 interviews since last month, while Harris-Waltz has conducted just one.
“Trump likely made a deal with Netanyahu to block a ceasefire until after the election. Business as usual.”
Lee said his questions and posts are ideas that have already been put forward by other media professionals, pointing Fox Digital to a post from Stephen Beschloss on Monday and a New York Times op-ed written by Thomas Friedman titled “How Netanyahu Wants to Save Himself, Get Trump Elected, and Beat Harris.”
Pressure is growing on the Biden-Harris administration to finalize the ceasefire as the war in Israel continues, with President Trump accusing Harris of being weak on foreign policy.

“The Israeli attack was carried out because they believe we are weak, powerless and have very weak leadership,” Trump said at a campaign rally in Iowa, the day Hamas first attacked Israel in October.
“The situation around the world is different than it was three years ago,” he added.
Trump also said that if he were president there would have been no war between Israel and Ukraine.
Kamala Harris 'should have been more grilled' about Biden's mental health during interview: Washington Post columnist
“I will end every international crisis that this administration has created, including the horrific war with Russia and Ukraine that would never have happened if I was President and that war had never happened. caused by attacks on Israel, “If I was president, that would never have happened,” Trump declared during his nomination acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention in July.
“Iran was bankrupt. Iran had no money. Now Iran has $250 billion. They made all that in the last two and a half years. They were bankrupt. I watched a show the other day called 'Deface the Nation.' Has anybody seen that? There was a Democrat on there who said, 'Well, whether you like it or not, Iran is bankrupt because of the Trump deal.'”
