‘Drake & Josh’ star Drake Bell reveals that former Nickelodeon dialogue coach Brian Peck abused him in the recent documentary ‘Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.’ Ta.
Despite the allegations made against Peck, he received much support through written letters from those who had worked with him in the past. Rider Strong, who starred in Boy Meets World, was one of them.deadline hollywood report Bell and Strong reportedly had a conversation after the revelations were made in the documentary.
After the conversation, Bell posted to X: I have nothing but love and forgiveness for him. ”
The documentary claimed that 41 people wrote letters supporting Mr. Peck. And even after the first episode of the series aired, Bell said none of the celebrities who wrote letters contacted him to apologize.
“I have not received an apology or apology at all from anyone who wrote the letter or anyone who was involved in supporting him,” Bell said in an interview on the Sarah Fraser Show podcast.
Blaze News previously reported that Bell said the department had apologized, but that it was a knee-jerk reaction and had no substance.
“There was a very well-orchestrated response of, ‘We learned about his trauma,’ because there was no way they could say they didn’t know about this or what happened or anything else,” the network said. Bell said of the apology.
“So I think it was probably a very well-orchestrated response by a big-time Hollywood lawyer.”
“I think their reaction is pretty hollow because they’re still doing our show, they’re still doing our show,” Bell continued.
“And I have to pay for my treatment, I have to understand what — I mean, if there was something, that there was a truth behind it that they actually care about. Then, there’s clearly something more than an on-page quote from a legal representative that tells you exactly how to coordinate your response. ”
Some of those who supported Peck had worked with Bell during his run on “Drake & Josh.” The actor reportedly didn’t realize people had written letters of support until the seal was broken.
“For four years, I worked with people who supported him, and maybe in the back of their minds they thought of me in some way and thought they were my friends. I had no idea it was there,” Bell said in an interview. Podcast.
