Border Emperor Tom Homan revealed Thursday that someone had tried to block the planned assault on immigration and customs enforcement agencies in Aurora, Colorado.
ICE conducted an operation in Aurora on Wednesday, prioritizing detention of gang members of Tren de Aragua and illegal criminal aliens.
'TDA is scheduled to be eradicated from this country. I don't take a break until all of them are in prison or Gitomo. ”
Aurora entered the heart of the country's immigration debate when reports surfaced last year that violent Venezuelan gangs had taken over several apartments. Although Aurora is not a sanctuary city, it has been working on the Fallout of Colorado and the policy of Denver's sanctuary, which serves as an illegal alien magnet.
ICE had the aim of arresting more than 100 illegal aliens during this week's raid, but it captured 30 people. Only one of them was a member of the TDA gang.
Homan said Fox News' Harris Faulkner says the sweep is less successful than the agency wanted, as someone leaked details of the planned assault to the community in advance.
When federal immigration agents arrived at various apartments known to have been handed over to members of the TDA gang, officers discovered that many of the homes had been cleaned up.
Homan explained that he had “already identified” how the Aurora ice manipulation leaked to the community, noting that he plans to deal with the situation soon.
He said being transparent with the American people in his massive deportation efforts is his number one priority. However, Homan has shown that the media may no longer be allowed to participate in ice raids.
“It's clear that we can't have all these different news outlets with us in various raids,” Homan said.
Faulkner also asks Homan about a group of protesters lined up on the streets where the attack took place, and uses a megaphone to give illegal aliens instructions on how to avoid ice agents.
According to Fox News, one protester cried out, “You're making fun of *****! What's wrong with you? Get out of our community!”
Another activist cried out in Spanish: “Shut up!”
“Don't open the door,” the activist added.
US Border Patrol Chief Michael Banks also said Fox News There were leaks regarding the attack, particularly when local media outlets turned activists overturned. He said he would consider media blackouts if necessary.
Aurora City Council member Daniel Julinski told Blaze News he “has no direct knowledge” about the leaked ice attacks to the community.
“We have a few activist groups that are moving around and telling migrants not to answer the door,” Julinski told the “American Newsroom” Thursday.
Homan said he is working with the Justice Department to decide that activist groups will “cross the boundaries” from protests to obstruct federal law enforcement operations. He vowed to use the DOJ to prosecute people who interfered with Ice's efforts.
“They may be handcuffing right away,” he told Faulkner. “We're not going to tolerate that anymore. This is not a game. When it comes to these sites, this is a dangerous job for men and women from ice and border patrols and all DOJ agencies.”
“Having this type of interference puts our executives at a great risk. It puts aliens at a great risk, not just the executives, but also at a great risk,” he added.
“We ask for prosecution,” declared Homan. “The TDA is going to be eradicated from this country. I will not rest until all of them are in prison or in Gitomo.”
He said ICE has already arrested around 12,000 illegal aliens since President Donald Trump took office a month ago.
