Media is used to change your perception of reality.
Memory is important. It is more than just a record or the sum of our experiences. It’s not just a record of our lives or a tally of the good and bad lessons we’ve learned. Our memories are those things, but fundamentally they are the key to who we are.
We are cutting the flowers of the future. This only happens if we allow someone to disconnect us from our roots.
Beings who lose their memories, whether they are people, groups, or nations, do not simply lose knowledge of their past or who they are or have been. They lose knowledge of themselves, of their purpose. Who are they, about who they should be. They lose their present and future.
This is exactly what the media is doing. This creates a “memory hole”.
In “1984,” everyone is forced into the “Ministry of Truth,” where they are indoctrinated with lies essential to keeping the oppressive powers in control. These lies were taught in a room where evidence of “old truths” such as photographs and documents were removed and thrown into the “memory hole”. There was a fiery furnace at the bottom of the memory hole. All memories of the past will be lost forever, and people will seek a new history and a new identity.
When we lose knowledge of ourselves, we lose our purpose and who we are meant to be. you are really lost.
Remember a movie or series that begins with the main character waking up to find that his memory is gone? His basic personality traits may remain, but he is agitated and not only unable to recognize his family from strangers, but also unable to recognize who he is and how to act next. I don’t even know if I should. This leaves people susceptible to manipulation and reprogramming with lies by bad actors who seek to exploit them for their own ends.
This also applies to society. We lose our stories when we forget them, stop telling them, or allow others to edit them to suit their purposes.we forget who we are and what we are can and should Get used to it. We are open to anyone who can tell a different story.
This is what happened to Christianity. We stopped reading the Bible and now listen to scientists and atheists and others who tell us to “live for today.” What’s wrong with that? Living only for today means living life the way you want. Therein lies the problem. We forget who we are and who we serve, leaving us exposed to the enemy. This is a characteristic of all postmodern, post-Western, radical atheist, Marxist thinkers and leaders.
“Simba, remember who you are! Remember who you are.” That seems kind of important to the whole story of The Lion King. — Simba remembers his roots. Why is it not so important to us? These stories tell us why we are here and what we are here to do. But now we are being told a new story. Old memories must be torn up, denied, outlawed and erased. Now new, more appropriate “enlightened” stories can replace them.
Many on the left truly believe that the old story is rubbish and the new story is true. Yet they can reap the fruits built on the foundations of old narratives, the material and moral benefits they took for granted and are currently destroying. They are cutting down the flower of freedom. However, cut flowers are not living. If you cut the flowers, they will fade, wilt, and die. They are silent memories of what was and what could have been.misquote Patrick Rothfuss, “Cut flowers are hung around them, and the silence is the beauty of a culture awaiting death.” They do not produce seeds. There are no next generation flowers. When they fade, only decay remains. What was once is no more.
We are cutting the flowers of the future. This can only happen if someone allows us to be cut off from our roots.
Do you know why our family is so broken? Because we don’t know where we came from or how we got here. “We are all immigrants.” That’s what everyone says. But how many people know why they brought their families here? How much did it cost them?Millions of people risked their lives to come. There’s a reason here. We need to remember these stories. But remembering requires conscious effort, choice, and ritual. The story needs to be told over and over again.
Rather than retelling these stories, new stories are being told in the vacuum we have created, rewriting our past to form the basis of the elite’s “brave new world.” This is a story about This story defines humanity in Marxist categories of oppressors and oppressors, promises safety and security at the expense of freedom, and is anti-human rather than a defense of individual dignity. It is a target. It’s said over and over again, but look at how quickly our identity is being lost.
This is a hole in our memory and we are at risk of losing our memory. Who are we As individuals, as citizens, as a nation. But the solution starts with us. We have to tell our stories. we must tell the truth. We have to tell the stories of our own lives and families.
And we have to tell our stories over and over again. Tell your family story. Teach your children the beautiful stories that built this country. Memory holes require a vacuum. It’s our responsibility to fill that void. A true and beautiful story.
