Evidence Against Obama and Intelligence Community’s Role in 2016 Election

Tulsi Gabbard, Director of National Intelligence, has recently released a significant amount of evidence suggesting that former President Barack Obama, along with various national security officials, may have intentionally manipulated intelligence regarding the 2016 election. This raises concerns about a prolonged effort to undermine President Trump’s victory.

It’s been reported that prior to and following the 2016 election, intelligence agencies found no substantial evidence of Russian interference via cyber means to sway the electoral outcome. However, Gabbard has indicated that before the public was made aware of these findings, the Obama administration sought to establish a different narrative, influenced, in part, by the Clinton campaign, which had concerns over the credibility of available intelligence.

According to Gabbard, the misleading narrative was initially disseminated through various leaks to liberal media outlets, compounded by revised intelligence assessments released in January 2017. This misinformation campaign, she argues, not only included attempts to discredit President Trump and his associates but also led to extensive investigations that resulted in multiple arrests.

Gabbard referred to this as a “rebellious plot,” reliant on media involvement that often framed unnamed sources as trustworthy, enhancing the narrative being pushed. For instance, in March 2017, the New York Times reported on the intention of Obama officials to propagate the story of Russian collusion as a way to justify their electoral loss, rather than as a measure for preserving the integrity of intelligence sources.

Trump himself has vehemently denied any collusion with Russian officials and has suggested that the intelligence community fabricated information regarding Russian interference to undermine his administration. His administration’s response was driven by fears about whether vital intelligence might be compromised if power shifted.

In another statement, Gabbard added that it was essential to investigate all parties involved in this matter, insisting on accountability to protect the integrity of democracy.

The released documents, now part of a controversial narrative, highlight troubling actions taken by high-level officials to potentially derail the legitimate will of the people, according to Gabbard. She is calling for these findings to be investigated further by the Department of Justice.
