Hunter Biden claims Democrats lost the election due to a lack of loyalty to his father.

In a recent interview, Hunter Biden stated that Democrats lost the presidential election to Trump in November.

“It looks like we’ll be at odds with each other for the next three years until we have a candidate, and when that happens, we need to rally behind that candidate,” he shared in a preview from an upcoming episode of Jaime Harrison’s new podcast, “At Our Table.”

“I’ll explain why we lost the last election. We failed to stand by our party leaders. That’s my take,” Hunter said in the excerpt. “There was the advantage of the incumbent and a really effective administration, and the Democrats just faded away.”

These comments are part of a longer interview Harrison conducted with Biden, which will be released with the podcast’s launch on Thursday. The first episode will feature Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz (D) and has more content with Hunter Biden in future episodes.

Since the November elections, Hunter has mostly remained out of the spotlight, particularly after Joe Biden dropped out of the race following a challenging debate performance against Trump, later endorsing Kamala Harris as his successor.

The interview also touches on various issues, including drug use, firearm possession, and tax matters. Hunter Biden has faced scrutiny since Joe Biden appointed him, as the former president remarked that “Hunter was selected simply because he is my son.”

Despite the tumultuous events following the election, the Biden family continues to attract attention, especially with several new publications related to the 2024 election and discussions of potential cover-ups regarding Biden’s condition.

Recently, the former president participated in a phone interview with the New York Times, defending himself against Republican allegations about using autopens for signing pardons. This sparked frustration among Democrats, who feel he is responding to GOP provocations while addressing anger over Trump’s “big beautiful bill” and the Epstein case.

As Democrats reflect on the November election results, some in the party have suggested that the former president should consider withdrawing from the race sooner.

Even prior to his departure, prominent Democrats like Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif) hinted that it seemed the then-president had already dropped out, much to the irritation of family members like former First Lady Jill Biden.
