On NBC's “Meet the Press Now” Wednesday, Biden 2024 campaign co-chairman Rep. James Clyburn (D-SC) said the hearings on Hunter Biden were “a great example of how good a father Joe Biden is.” “I just want to show you what it is,” he said. “I'm not going to let any position get in the way of being a good father. And I think that's what Joe Biden is doing here, and any public testimony makes that clear. I believe it will.”
“I think he's a distraction, but I don't think it's a liability,” Clyburn said. I think this just shows what a good father Joe Biden is. We all have children, maybe not all of us. And I care about them and I want to be a good father to them and I'm not going to let anything get in the way of me being a good father. And that's what Joe Biden is doing here, and I believe any public testimony will reveal that. In private, they say what they want. They come out and paint the picture they want to paint. What do they have to hide? Do it in public. ”
