In recent days, Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) has ramped up arrests, targeting individuals deemed some of the “worst of the worst.” This includes illegal aliens who have been convicted of serious crimes like sexual offenses, robbery, murder, and human trafficking.
According to ICE, despite ongoing criticisms and attacks from Democrats and their supporters, federal agencies are intensifying efforts to protect the country from these threatening individuals.
On September 22, ICE stated, “Our law enforcement officials remain committed to apprehending and removing violent predators from American communities, even as assaults against them have surged over 1,000%.”
The agency reported on its success in removing particularly dangerous offenders, including those found guilty of aggravated sexual assault, various forms of robbery, and involvement in human trafficking.
“While many Americans spent the weekend relaxing, ICE enforcement was actively apprehending sex traffickers, robbers, and gang members. Instead of expressing gratitude towards our dedicated agents, sanctuary politicians and protesters continue to vilify them—comparing their actions to historical oppressive forces. This inflammatory rhetoric only escalates the risks faced by ICE officials, who are experiencing a staggering increase in assaults as they perform their duties.”
