A series of Bolivian illegal immigrants have been arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in Virginia on suspicion of child sex crimes.
According to the Washington, D.C., Enforcement and Removal Operations Office (ERO), 36-year-old Jose Fabricio Bayzaga Vargas was arrested in Annandale, Virginia on August 19th.
Fox News confirmed that the Bolivian migrant illegally entered the United States in April 2023 through Texas, where he was arrested and released. ERO noted that Baysaga was notified to appear before a Department of Justice immigration judge at a later date.

ERO Washington, D.C. will continue to prioritize public safety by apprehending and removing these violent criminal aliens from our neighborhoods in Washington, D.C. and Virginia.”

After being found guilty, he was sentenced to six months in prison, but the court suspended the sentence, ERO said.
Later that same day, ERO announced that the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center had refused to honor the immigration detention order and released Beyzaga from custody without notice.
Fairfax County police arrested Beyzaga on Aug. 15 and charged him with seven felony counts of possession of child pornography and one felony count of possession of obscene material with a minor.
Following this arrest, ERO Washington DC again applied for an immigration detention order against Beyzaga at the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center, but officials did not honor it and again released him.
