Iran has warned of a “devastating war” if Israel launches an all-out attack against the Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
The Iranian Mission to the United Nations post Iran warned of a “catastrophic war” if Israel launches a “full-scale military invasion” and “attacks Lebanon.” Iran’s warning comes as several countries, including the United States, Germany, the Netherlands and Canada, have warned their citizens to avoid traveling to Lebanon.

“Iran considers the Zionist regime’s propaganda to attack Lebanon to be psychological warfare, but if it were to launch a full-scale military invasion, it would result in a devastating war,” the Iranian mission to the UN wrote. “All options are on the table, including the full involvement of all resistance fronts.”
The Israel Times report Iran issued the warning “after the Israel Defense Forces attacked several Hezbollah positions.”
The warning came amid rising tensions on the Lebanese border and after the IDF struck several Hezbollah positions in retaliation for the Iranian-backed terrorist group’s latest attack on northern Israel just hours earlier.
On Thursday, Hezbollah fired rockets at an Israeli military base after Israel attacked the Lebanese city of Nabatieh and the town of Somol.

In early June, Hezbollah fired rockets and projectiles at Israel, which responded by shelling several terrorist positions in southern Lebanon.
Breitbart News previously reported that Hezbollah is violating “UN Security Council Resolution 1701.”
Hezbollah is violating UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which ended the 2006 Second Lebanon War and banned Hezbollah from establishing military facilities south of the Litani River.
Neither the Lebanese army nor the UN have the will or ability to enforce the resolution, and President Joe Biden’s October warning to Hezbollah and Iran to “stop it” has been ineffective in deterring the terrorist groups.
The militant group retaliated by firing hundreds of rockets into Israel in a nighttime attack after an Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) strike killed Sami Taleb Abdullah, a senior commander in the Hezbollah group’s Nasr coalition.
