Israel Warns Iranian Civilians; Iran Aims at Israeli Civilians

Iran and Israel Tensions Rise

Israel has started issuing warnings in Persian aimed at Iranian civilians living near military facilities and other potential targets of Israeli air strikes.

In contrast, Iran appears to be intentionally targeting Israeli citizens with missile attacks.

The translated warning to Iranian civilians reads: “Emergency alert to all Iranian citizens: anyone near military production plants and their associated organizations should evacuate these areas immediately and remain away until further notice.”

Interestingly, Iran restricts its own warnings solely to Israeli civilians, irrespective of their ethnicity, while continuing missile assaults within its own territory.

It’s worth noting that during previous conflicts, the Iranian government didn’t see a need to construct bomb shelters for its people. Instead, it urged citizens to seek refuge in schools, mosques, and subways. This approach mirrors that of Palestinian militant groups, which seem to prioritize assaults on Israel over safeguarding their own population.

On Sunday, a series of Iranian ballistic missile strikes led to the deaths of 10 Israelis, including members of an Arab family, and left around 200 people injured—none of the missiles targeted military sites. Tragically, a Cancer Research Center was also destroyed in the strikes.

According to reports from the Israeli government, in just 48 hours of conflict by Sunday, Iran launched a total of 270 missiles, most of which were intercepted. However, 22 missiles pierced through Israel’s defense, resulting in the fatalities of 13 individuals, including three children. Approximately 390 people sustained injuries, with nine reported in serious condition and about 30 in moderate condition.

The timing of these missile launches—mostly at night—adds to the stress and anxiety of the Israeli populace. This tactic is likely due to the fear among Iranian forces that daytime launches would expose their mobile missile sites to immediate Israeli retaliation.
