‘It Just Looks Corrupt’: MSNBC Analyst Says Biden’s Pardon Of Hunter Fuels Perception That ‘System Is Rigged’

MSNBC political analyst Ellis Jordan said Monday that President Joe Biden's pardon of his son Hunter Biden shows why many Americans believe “the system is rigged.” He said there was.

The president's Sunday pardon marks months of no presidential intervention after a Delaware jury convicted Hunter Biden of knowingly possessing a firearm as a drug addict and making false statements on purchase documents. This is a continuation of what has been claimed. Jordan said on the Chris Jansing Report that the pardon appears “corrupt” and reinforces the perception that President-elect Donald Trump is no more disgraceful than the current president. he claimed. “Joe Biden left America’s system of rule of law in jeopardy on the eve of the transfer of power. He has professed to care about protecting and preserving the system, but this move threatens to undermine it. It just looks like it's there,” Jordan said. “He seems more interested in using his political power to protect those in power, in this case his son…This is why so many Americans believe that the system is rigged and that politicians are corrupt.” And it just sums up why I think it's confusing what Biden did.'' And Trump did that, rightly or wrongly.'' ”

“That's why one of the many reasons why the election played out the way it did with Donald Trump is that just because he thinks the whole system is rotten, given all of Donald Trump's beliefs, America's “The public was willing to give him another chance,” she continued. “And I would just be shocked if President Trump didn't give the January 6th rioters a full pardon for what they did on January 6th.”

After the president announced the pardon, President Trump asked If “this includes the J-6 hostages who have been imprisoned for years,” he argued on Truth Social, their treatment “is an abuse and a misuse of justice!” CNN presidential historian Tim Naftali argued Monday that the president's move is likely to strengthen Trump's resolve to fulfill his promise to pardon the January 6 protesters.

“I'm concerned that President-elect Trump didn't need a pretext to issue a large-scale pardon, for example, on January 6th. [been] He was convicted of a crime on or as a result of January 6th, which I think serves to vindicate President-elect Trump,” Naftali argued.

Radio host Charlamagne Tha God said Monday that Democrats lack the moral high ground over Republicans in response to the pardons.

“What I want is for Democrats to stop acting like they're on this moral high ground politically. They're showing us that they're not. When Biden leaves office. Things like skipping the preliminary process and Biden pardoning his son,” Charlamagne said. “Stop acting like you're all a pure political party and the Republican Party isn't.”
