James Carville says Dems were ‘stupid’ for ignoring rural US voters

Democratic strategist James Kerrville declared that Democrats should “apologise” by saying they are “silly” for ignoring rural American voters in the last presidential election.

Kerrville issued a statement on Thursday's episode of his “Political War Room” podcast, claiming that the party has become “smug” and has been amortized by rural voters.

“You know, we know the stupidity of 'we have to be the most progressive, self-righteous, moral people in the world,'” he said, explaining his impression of the party's perspective. “And you know, “People who live in the countryside of America – you just know that you're fat, lazy, stupid.” That's clearly not true. ”

He said, “But that's the way some of the urbanist elements of our party tried to meet, and it's stupid and they should apologise to the world for being so g-damn stupid.”

The strategists answered listeners' questions about whether Democrats should focus on rural campaigns. The former Bill Clinton campaign political writer said it should be done and rebuked the party who allegedly overlooked them.

“Well, I think it was always the time for Democrats to campaign hard in rural areas. I don't know that the party ran away from it,” he said.

Kerrville added that some of the “more urbanists and commentators” who represent the party “dwelled in the stupidity of the world that could exist in elections, simply by focusing on large urban areas that were not strategically located.”

He said that now there is an opportunity for Democrats to reintroduce themselves into Central America and should take advantage of it.

Kerrville provided a steady stream of criticism for his party since his election defeat to President Donald Trump in November.

In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, the former Clinton advisor criticized the party's recent anti-Trump tactics, saying he “we haven't seen them in the moment.”

Specifically referring to their divisive explosion during Trump's speech to a joint session of Congress earlier this month, he said, “My first political commandment is, 'You should not make your own a-'.” And they did not follow Kerrville's first commandment. ”

On foxnews.com Op-ed, released on March 12, Kerrville urged the party to make a “strategic political withdrawal” and allow Trump to sink into his policies.

“I mean, it's an old military doctrine. Don't interfere when your opponent is destroying yourself. Don't get in the way right now.”
