Jason Whitlock: The Nolan Wells case is being exploited to stir racial conflict

Investigation into Nolan Wells’ Death Sparks Outcry

A rising chorus of voices from public figures is emerging as the inquiry into the tragic death of 18-year-old Nolan Wells unfolds. Jason Whitlock, a host at Blaze TV, suggests that there are “agents of confusion” at play and implies that race is a significant factor.

He remarks, “All of these leaders are set up. They’re all set up to foster chaos. And Ben Crump is a prime example.” Whitlock further critiques Crump, saying, “This guy pretends to be a legal expert, yet it seems he struggles with English and possibly doesn’t qualify as a competent lawyer.” He accuses Crump of parachuting into Mississippi to incite racial tensions alongside others, including Jasmine Crockett.

When Crockett spoke to TMZ, she echoed concerns about racial motivations behind the case. A reporter asked her directly, “Some people feel it’s racially motivated. What do you think?” Crockett responded, “As Black people in America, we tend to always question racial motives.” She emphasized that given Mississippi’s fraught history, it feels unreasonable to turn a blind eye, especially with an 18-year-old who died without any clear contact with others.

She noted, “Crockett argued that it was troubling for the young man to be out with friends and for law enforcement to claim there was no suspected criminal activity. “A blind person would recognize that something deserves investigation.”

As the conversation progressed, she pointed out, “White kids deleted their social media accounts.” Clarifying, she said, “It might be a racial issue, but perhaps it isn’t.” However, she felt the circumstances warranted scrutiny.

Whitlock didn’t hold back in his critique, claiming, “That kind of reasoning is nonsensical, and it underscores why we need to reconsider certain rights.” He dismissed Crockett’s assertions, implying her conclusions about racism are unfounded. His tone was acerbic: “Kids don’t drown in boating accidents during the summer, especially on holidays. It simply must be racial.”
