JESSE WATTERS: Trump’s ‘swagger’ could be his secret to winning swing states

Fox News host Jesse Watters argued on “Jesse Watters Primetime” Thursday that former President Trump is running a “brave” campaign that is reminiscent of his historic entry into the White House in 2016, and that it is scaring Democrats.

Jesse Waters: With just one week until CNN’s presidential debate, Joe Biden is officially off. The president is taking the entire week off to study at Camp David. Primetime is expecting Biden to recite the same hackneyed lines and falsehoods Democrats have been peddling for years, but sources say Biden has a surprise up his sleeve.

CBS News 24/7, Wednesday: This is a very important performance for President Biden, not only in terms of content but also in terms of physical performance, so we can expect some surprises.

Surprises? Athleticism? What does that even mean? Is he going to take his shirt off and do push-ups like RFK? What does CBS know?

Special Report: Republicans should temper their high expectations here because I think Biden has performed well at big events like the State of the Union. He’s been given Viagra at debates and is fine for 30 minutes. If he’s still debating after four hours, they’re going to have to call in a doctor.

Insiders reveal how Biden and Trump are preparing for the first 2024 presidential debate

Trump, meanwhile, has no plans to take a break from campaigning this week, holding a rally in Philadelphia on Saturday in a bid to shake up Biden’s support base, which he has said is his way of preparing for the debate.

Former President Trump on Tuesday: Is anybody watching the debate? He’s going to be so excited. He’s going to be so excited. Look, all that stuff that was missing from the White House about a month ago. What happened? Who left it there? Someone left it there. Well, I guess someone left a laptop in the office of the gentleman who was supposed to fix the hellish laptop. He didn’t pick it up, and it’s not like someone picked up hundreds of thousands of dollars of cocaine. I wonder who that was. I don’t know. I think it was Joe, actually.

And now we know That wasn’t Joe’s Coke. But the funny thing is, Trump knows it, and the crowd knows it, but the media doesn’t.

CNN, Wednesday: I can’t believe I have to fact-check that, if you want to call it that, but it wasn’t President Biden.”s.

CNN, Wednesday: What’s happened in recent months is more extreme statements by a convicted felon than we’ve ever seen before – this cocaine example – but it’s now normal for Donald Trump to make something public.

MSNBC: Donald Trump is onstage suggesting that President Biden will take cocaine. To back up my point here, this man, this candidate, this convicted felon, does dirty things. He does ugly things. He’s done it many times before. I could spend the next three and a half hours cataloging his lies, but I don’t think I’ll ever get to them all. He lies like a rug.

Biden gains big support among key voters ahead of first debate with Trump: poll

So they’re fact-checking his jokes. The media doesn’t think there’s anything funny about cocaine found in the White House. Is there anything funny about Joe’s dog, Cujo? Is the president’s I’m scared to dance at a Juneteenth party – Isn’t that funny? When Trump gets the media to fact-check him and deliver a positive message, that’s the dangerous Donald. When was the last time you saw such a bravado?

Chuck Todd, MSNBC, Wednesday: isOnald Trump’s rhetoric, even his swagger, seems so 2016… At the event he had with Donald Trump in Detroit, he was weirdly unhinged. He was trying to be funny, but all this from 2017 through 2022 and into the 2023 primaries was just angry grievances. Trump, right? Angry. Angry. Angry. It would be interesting if he let out the grievances in some way, but he may end up looking like the 2016 candidate, the outside disruptor.

Trump’s happy disruptor strategy is powerful and real. It’s what got us beating the establishment in 2016. It’s been hard being a fun outsider for Trump in 2020. As a sitting president, he’s dealt with a pandemic, riots, and an FBI cover-up. This year, Trump has regained the confidence that could be the secret to winning battleground states and even pulling off a surprise.

Insiders predict that a Rust Belt Republican could be Trump’s running mate and flip Biden’s votes in key battleground states.

Voters don’t have Trump’s amnesia. They have Biden’s regret. And no one is thinking about the pandemic. We’re thinking about groceries, gas, and a hard border, but the Democrats can’t discuss the issues, so they A dictator’s hoax.
