Jessie James Decker found herself dealing with an unpleasant situation on a flight: a bare foot was sticking out beside her seat, and, she said, it smelled bad.
The country singer shared a video on social media in which she covered her nose and sprayed the foot. “Before you come at me… what would you have done?” she asked her followers.
Many commenters sided with Decker. Some said the passenger should have kept their feet off the armrests and shown more consideration for others on the plane. One person who said they used to work as a flight attendant called the behavior especially unhygienic.
Others weren’t sure the foot belonged to a stranger. Several wondered whether it was her husband Eric Decker’s; the couple married in 2013. Jessie didn’t say whose foot it was.
Some followers suggested less confrontational responses, including tickling the foot or drawing on it with a marker. A few thought the clip might have been a joke between the couple.
Jessie and Eric have four children: Vivianne, Eric Jr., Forrest and Denver.
