If Joe Benigno has some technical issues, plus a microphone while recording, it’s podcast gold.
Former WFAN host Benigno provided some laugh-filled, expletive-filled moments while trying to deal with the TV’s technical issues. Podcast “Oh, the pain” And apparently it’s a serpentine cat.
Technique and the 70-year-old Benigno have never been a harmonious tag team, but his latest podcast went off the rails while discussing the Knicks’ win over the 76ers.
“Oh. Oh,” Benigno said in an irritated tone. “Oh, this, this awful thing. Of course it’s going to happen now.”

I would like to mention here that the microphone may have been turned off or the podcast may have been edited to remove this segment.
But neither happened and the world benefited.
And it looks like the cats are also involved.
“Come on, come on. Come on, baby, come on. You gotta come. Let’s go. Oh my god,” Benigno apparently said to his cat. “Come on. Come on. Come on. Damn it. It got ridiculous and then I stopped recording. Why does something like this pop up covering the entire screen?”
Benigno’s wife, Terry, who was apparently caring for the cat, tried to defuse the situation.
“I know, Hun. I know. I don’t know,” Terry said. “Sometimes you’ll see pop-ups like this.”
Benigno then alternated between technical and cat dialogue.
“There’s no reason for that. Hmm. He’s going up, huh? Hmm. I can’t stand it,” Benigno said. “Here, let’s go. Is he awake? I can’t believe it, but do we have to do this again?”
The proceedings became downright comical when Benigno began coughing and hacking to clear his voice before resuming.
Then Terry saved the day.
“Okay, wait a minute. Please cancel,” Terry said. “Okay, let’s move on.”
“Okay, I’m back,” Benigno said. “We had a little hiccup here and I’d like to apologize to everyone. Benigno, ‘Oh, the Pain’ Podcast. Let’s go back to where we started. We were talking about (Joel) Embiid and how overrated he is. ”
of “Boomer and Geo” crew They laughed wildly as they analyzed various parts of Benigno’s reaction, especially his obnoxious sounds.
Boomer Esiason quipped, “It was like having my lungs pumped up.”
