Joe Burrow keeps making history only to see the Ravens ruin it for him

Thursday night delivered the most thrilling night thursday night football As for recent games, baltimore ravens refrained from cincinnati bengals 35-34 against AFC North. The Ravens denied Cincinnati's two-point conversion attempt with less than a minute left and held on for the win in the final moments. However, this play may leave Bengals fans a little sour in the coming days, as Baltimore's apparent penalty on this play was not noted by officials.

Quarterbacks Lamar Jackson and Joe Burrow were outstanding in this game. Jackson completed 25 of 33 passes for four touchdowns with no interceptions and added another 33 yards on seven rushing attempts. The Ravens QB and current MVP candidate threw three of his touchdowns in the fourth quarter alone as Baltimore rebounded from a 21-7 deficit in the third quarter.

As for Burrow, he completed 34 of 56 passes for 428 yards and four touchdowns, adding to his MVP bid that will likely be thwarted by the Bengals' record. Ja'Marr Chase was on the receiving end for the majority of his throws, as the Cincinnati WR caught 11 passes for 264 yards and three TDs.

The final TD connection with less than a minute left in the game was beautiful. Watch as Burrow makes this throw to Chase in perfect position on an out route, allowing the receiver to score a TD while two Ravens defenders try in vain to stop the connection.

Unfortunately, the ensuing two-point try was denied, leaving the Bengals wondering what would happen.

When the game came down to the finals, Burrow made a small mark in NFL history. His performances included completing over 30 passes, gaining over 300 passing yards, completing over 4 touchdown passes, multiple 40-yard touchdown passes, and one interception. It went into the record books as just the second appearance for a quarterback who only pitched. , but still lost the match.

Is this the only other time in NFL history that this has happened?

Return to week 5Burrow completed 30 of 39 passes for 392 yards, five touchdowns, and one interception in an overtime loss to the Ravens.

At 4-6, the Bengals face an uphill climb to make the playoffs. But even if they manage to make it to the postseason, you might not have to blame Burrow if the last team he wants to see there is Baltimore.
