Joe Rogan and Andrew Schulz poke fun at Harris' assertion of being the most qualified candidate

Joe Rogan and Andrew Schultz Critique Kamala Harris’ Book Tour

Podcaster Joe Rogan and comedian Andrew Schultz have taken aim at former Vice President Kamala Harris’ recent book tour, characterizing it as a calculated move that, perhaps, seems to cater to President Donald Trump.

Harris participated in a discussion with journalist Kara Swisher at the Warner Theater in Washington, D.C., where they talked about her new book, “107 Days.” This book outlines her challenging journey during the 2024 election. Harris emphasized her credentials during the chat, even going so far as to claim, “In fact, some say I was the best candidate ever to run for president.”

Swisher replied with a playful jab, saying, “‘Some people say’ is a very nice phrase, but here you go.” It’s interesting how phrases like “some people say this” and “a lot of people are saying that” have become hallmarks of Trump’s rhetoric, often leading into his own achievements.

Speculations About Future Runs

During the conversation, Harris hinted at the possibility of running for office again in 2028, with some describing her as ‘the most qualified candidate in history.’

Rogan pointed out that during her stage appearance, Harris claimed, “a lot of people said I was the best person to run for president.” He questioned the validity of this assertion, asking, “Who said that?” To him, running against someone with presidential experience, like Joe Biden, means the resume argument falls flat.

Schultz took this further, suggesting that Republicans could use quotes from Harris’ book to illustrate why she didn’t win the election. He reflected on how, in the long run, people might romanticize her time in politics once she’s out of the spotlight.

Reflections on Controversies

Rogan also mentioned Harris’ controversial Columbus Day message from 2021, where she addressed the historical impact of European explorers, stating that the United States “must not shun” the “shameful past.” He found her comments quite shocking, saying, “Did you see her Columbus Day message to America? Oh, my God.” It seems that Harris touched a nerve with her perspective, especially considering the complexities surrounding historical narratives.

In a somewhat humorous twist, Rogan joked that while acknowledging land recognition, those discussing these issues seem to promote globalism, adding, “Columbus is the only immigrant they hate.”

As of now, there has been no comment from Harris’ office in response to these critiques.
