Despite being early in his term, Donald Trump has, according to Blaze Media’s new host John Doyle, already surpassed even the most optimistic expectations for his presidency.
“I’m eager to see what the administration will accomplish in the next three years. However, it’s clear that the first year of President Trump’s second term has seen more successes than any year of his first term,” he commented.
In the latest episode of “The John Doyle Show,” Doyle reviews some of Trump’s significant achievements.
Immigration Policies
“Immigration remains the top issue,” Doyle stated, noting that “tens of millions of illegal immigrants have made their way into the U.S. during Joe Biden’s presidency.”
When Trump took office, he promptly declared a national emergency at the southern border, mobilizing over 10,000 military personnel to curb illegal crossings. Alongside this, he signed a series of executive orders aimed at securing the border, ending “catch-and-release,” and restricting asylum admissions.
In the ensuing months, he reinstated and enhanced the Remain in Mexico policy, enacted the Laken-Reilly Act that required the detention of criminal immigrants, and significantly increased ICE arrests and deportations—resulting in the deportation of hundreds of thousands of individuals, with over a million opting for voluntary deportation. Illegal border crossings plummeted to the lowest levels seen in decades, dropping more than 90% from prior highs and creating what many consider the most secure border in recent history.
Doyle commented, “Border crossings have basically become a myth.” He added, however, that what’s crucial next is the promised “mass deportations.” “Those who should not be here need to leave—either voluntarily or otherwise, but it must happen very legally,” he emphasized.
Ending DEI Initiatives
Doyle highlighted that Trump has made significant headway against what he termed anti-white racism. He pointed out that prior administrations had spent vast amounts of money creating a “civil rights system” that, paradoxically, discriminated against white individuals.
Just within months of assuming office, Trump dismantled the federal DEI framework established over decades by Democrats. He removed all DEI programs, offices, and positions across the federal landscape, revoked established affirmative action requirements for federal contractors, and instructed agencies to address illegal DEI practices in the private sector to ensure merit-based opportunities and uphold civil rights laws.
“And that’s really just scratching the surface… He also signed an executive order prohibiting anti-white teaching in K-12 schools and initiated an investigation into the University of California system regarding race- and gender-based hiring quotas,” Doyle noted. “Investigations are underway for 45 universities, including Ivy League institutions, concerning unlawful racial preferences in various educational practices.”
“And that’s not all,” he added.
Other Achievements
Doyle commended Trump for granting a “complete pardon” to those involved in the January 6 protests and for leading multiple federal inquiries into Antifa.
Additionally, he mentioned Trump’s success in persuading Israel to engage in a peace deal regarding Gaza much sooner than anticipated and noted that he helped to prevent a potential catastrophic conflict with Iran, which many speculated could escalate to World War III.
“The progress made by this administration has been truly impressive, yet we still have three years ahead,” he concluded.
