Joy Reid bugs out in wake of SCOTUS ruling

MSNBC commentator Joy Reid, like many of her liberal colleagues in the mainstream media, She played a role In recent years, Democrats have tried to portray President Joe Biden as competent and capable in order to hold onto the White House for another term. But this has turned out to be a colossal waste of smokescreens and pretenses. Biden went on to debate former President Donald Trump on Thursday, putting his mental decline on full display for all to see.

Reid didn’t handle the shattering of his illusions well, during a panel discussion on Thursday. comfortable False claims about Trump.

She managed to survive the weekend, but Monday’s ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court Trump vs. the United States The ruling, which holds that the president cannot be prosecuted for acts related to his constitutional powers, appeared to infuriate her.

Lead share He posted a video to TikTok on Monday, telling his followers, “This is DEFCON 1, friends.”

In his roughly 10-minute rant, Reid disparaged the wives of conservative Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas, suggested only the court’s liberal wing cares about the Constitution, argued that the court’s decisions allow the president to arbitrarily kill his opponents and legalize presidential treason, and said he would rather have a vegetative candidate occupy the White House than the presumptive Republican nominee.

“There was a lot of discussion last week about an old man who had a really bad debate — an infirm old man,” Reid said.

Reade said all the talk about Biden’s decline, both in private and in columns in publications such as The New York Times, was made “completely irrelevant” by the Supreme Court’s decision.

Justice Reid appeared to discount or completely ignore the opinion of Chief Justice John Roberts, suggesting that the court’s conservative majority “has just declared that the president of the United States and former presidents of the United States are kings, just days before this nation supposedly celebrates its independence from the British monarch.”

“They have given Donald Trump monarchical powers and declared him immune from prosecution for any act that can be declared to be an official act – any act that he takes as president,” Reid raved.

Justice Reid echoed the radical interpretation offered by Justice Sonia Sotomayor in her dissent, suggesting that the majority’s decision would allow President Trump to use SEAL Team Six, with the president’s auspices, to assassinate one of his political opponents.

Reid was clearly detached from the argument and the ruling, drifting into a scenario in which Trump, who viewed Biden as a national security threat, would use a drone to kill Biden’s family while they were “traveling overseas.”

After accusing the Supreme Court of giving the president the right to arbitrarily kill his opponents while on vacation, Justice Reid denounced the wives of Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas as “insurrectionists,” and he specifically accused Alito of lying about his wife’s role in the New York Times false flag story.

Despite her intense coverage of Trump’s impeachment proceedings, Reid later suggested that Congress’ failure to convict the object of her antipathy was evidence that the president would ultimately not be held accountable for the crimes he allegedly committed.

Convinced that America was now a monarchical republic with an irrepressible executive branch that could execute opponents at will, Reid concluded that “the election is no longer about the old man who’s now in the White House.”

“I don’t care anymore. It doesn’t matter anymore. It doesn’t matter anymore. It doesn’t matter anymore,” Reade continued. “Joe Biden’s age, his infirmities, his [sic] When he walks [sic]… I don’t care. He may sit in a chair from now until Election Day and never get up. He may sit down, he may move around in a wheelchair. … I don’t care. Donald John Trump should not be allowed back in the White House.”

In the midst of his vehement denunciations, Reid has apparently changed his mind and decided that the conservative Supreme Court justice is now king of America.

“They’re trying to repeal the entire 20th century,” Reid argued, “and they’re doing it fast.”

Reid ended by suggesting that people who don’t agree with her are “delusional.”
