MSNBC host Joy Reid posted a video of herself examining a bizarre conspiracy theory that the Secret Service assisted former President Donald Trump in creating a historic and revolting photo image of the shooting.

She noted that within minutes of announcing that Biden had re-exposed himself to COVID-19, the White House released a host of detailed medical information about his condition.
“Yet in light of Saturday’s assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, very little is known about his health,” Reid said.
“Why doesn’t anyone have any information about this injury? We still don’t know for sure whether Donald Trump was hit by a bullet, whether he was hit by glass, whether he was hit by shrapnel. We don’t know those details,” she continued.
“We know so little! Why? Why do we know so little?” she asked.
She also argued that it was unclear where the other three victims of the shooting stood in relation to President Trump.
“In a shooting, in a shooter situation, I don’t understand why Donald Trump was allowed to stand for a full nine seconds when it was announced at the time that the shooter was down.”
“Police allowed him to stand up in the middle of that crisis, pose for a photo, pump his fist, get that iconic photo, and then police allowed him to stand up again outside the SUV rather than forcing him into the SUV, which is really unusual.”
She went on to detail the “chaos” surrounding the Secret Service security failures and sought to portray the latest attempt as strange and unusual, comparing it to circumstances of previous shootings involving the president.
“That’s weird, and I don’t think there’s much interest in that!” she laughed. “You know, in the media world, in my profession. It’s weird, isn’t it?”
Many of the former president’s critics have noted that few official medical details about his injuries have been released, with only the most extreme of them insisting that he was not, in fact, shot. Others have stuck to early reports that Trump’s ear was sliced open by shrapnel from a teleprompter that was hit by a bullet, a report that was quickly proven false.
Reid came under fire from rapper and model Amber Rose after the MSNBC host tried to undermine her speech at the Republican National Convention by attacking her racial identity.
