Vice President Kamala Harris appears on the latest cover of Vogue magazine in a glowing profile that describes her as “the candidate of our time.”
The magazine first published its October digital cover on Friday spotlighting the Democratic presidential candidate, with a moody photo of her smiling at her home in Washington, D.C., wearing a Gabriella Hearst suit and now-infamous Tiffany & Co. earrings. .
The chatty cover is likely to be the last the magazine runs before next month's election.
“It's rare for an individual to be called upon to assist in a national rescue mission, but Vice President Kamala Harris received one in July,” the fashion magazine wrote while promoting a profile article.
“With President Joe Biden's decision to end his re-election campaign, the world looked to Harris with hope and suspicion.”
The cover photo, taken on Oct. 7, shows the 59-year-old candidate in her own designer suit, with a nod to the now-infamous Tiffany & Co. she wore during her debate with former President Donald Trump. What appears to be earrings is also pictured.
The night's jewelry debate sparked a number of conspiracy theories, including that Harris was wearing clip-on audio headphones disguised as pearl earrings.
